Chevalier édition

Chevalier Édition rugs are exclusively hand-knotted in a workshop in Nepal and meet the highest requirements of quality and finish, according to the finest traditions and in full respect for the craftspeople.

All manufacturing stages are traditional and carried out by hand: hand-carded and spun wool, craft dyeing, rug knotting using high-warp looms, sculpting into highlighted patterns…

The suppleness of rugs made in Nepal is also a guarantee of quality and longevity. The rug workshop selected is “Rug Mark” approved: this non-governmental organisation ensures that child labour is not used to make Chevalier Édition rugs.

Bosc and Chevalier Edition have worked side by side several times through Samuel Accoceberry, designer of their Tresse rug. Here are some pictures showing the result of this collaboration and featuring our Ossau and Xistera sofas.
