CONTIS ARMCHAIR

The solid oak structure, known for its strength and ability to age gracefully, is the central and distinctive element of the Contis Bourg and Contis Plage family (armchairs and sofas). Every angle, every joint is the fruit of meticulous handcrafted assembly, giving them an almost sculptural appearance without ever being ostentatious. The seats are dense without being too firm. They provide perfect back support and avoid any feeling of “hollow”. The armrests, also made of solid wood, complete the support. Wide and stable, they are high enough to provide comfortable support for the arms.

DESIGNER : SAMUEL ACCOCEBERRY

Born in Bordeaux in 1972, Samuel Accoceberry is a graduate of Beaux Arts in Nancy. He began working for Alcatel, then continued his professional experience between Milan and Paris with Antonio Citterio, Rodolfo Dordoni and Arik Levy. In 2010, he opened his own design studio, working for Aéroports de Paris, Chevalier Edition, Staub, etc. In 2013, he was awarded the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris.
